For construction claims on Indian infrastructure projects

Your claim is only as strong as your chronology.

Claim Diagnostic turns a project's contract and correspondence into a dated chronology, a notice-compliance check, a draft claim register and an Excel workbook, within about 5 working days.

Sample reports use a fully fictional project.

Why now

MoRTH's January 2026 circular takes highway contract disputes above Rs 10 crore out of arbitration. That means claims increasingly turn on how well the records are organised.

Facts are easier to prove when they were recorded on the day and can be found quickly. We help teams get their record into that shape.

Who it is for

Made for the people who have to prove a delay or a cost

Arbitration and construction lawyers

Start from a sourced chronology, not from a search through the file for each key date.

Claims consultants and quantity surveyors

See which triggering events were notified in time before you write the entitlement analysis.

Contractors' contracts teams

Know which notices to send now, which are already late, and what to chase from the client.

What you get

Four outputs from one set of documents

  • Dated chronology

Every event that matters for time and money claims, each with a verbatim quote, the source document and the page.

  • Notice-compliance check

Each triggering event is tested against the contract's notice clauses and marked compliant, late, missing or needs review.

  • Draft claim register

Claim heads such as extension of time, delayed payment and change of scope, with risks and next steps for each.

  • Excel workbook

The same material in Excel, so your team can sort, filter and add its own notes.

How it works

From your file to a report in four steps

  1. Sign an NDA and send the file

Nothing is shared before the NDA is signed. Send the contract and correspondence as they are. Scanned files are fine.

  2. We build the chronology and run the checks

We date and quote each relevant event, then test each one against the notice clauses.

  3. A person reviews everything

Every output is checked by a person before it is sent to you.

  4. You get the report and workbook in about 5 working days

Your team or counsel reviews the findings and gives advice.

Confidentiality

How your documents are handled

  • An NDA is signed before any documents are shared.
  • We use Anthropic's Claude to help read and organise documents, with the setting that allows our conversations to be used for model training switched off.
  • On request, we delete working files after delivery.
  • A person checks every output before it is sent to you.

If your project has its own confidentiality terms, tell us before you send anything.

About

Why this exists

Built by Shaurya Vikram Singh, a law student at Alliance School of Law in Bengaluru, who got interested in why good claims fail on paperwork.

I am not a practising lawyer, so this service does not give legal advice. Your team or counsel reads the report and decides what it means.

FAQ

Common questions

Is this legal advice?

No. We analyse the documents you send and report what we find, with sources. Your team or counsel gives advice and decides what the findings mean.

What documents can you read?

PDFs, including scanned PDFs, Word files, emails, Excel files and images. Old .doc and .msg files should be converted first, to .docx or PDF.

How long does it take?

About 5 working days after we receive the documents and the signed NDA. Very large files can take longer, and we confirm the timing when we agree the scope.

Which contracts?

EPC, HAM, BOT and FIDIC-based contracts, and government GCC-based forms.

What if the records are messy?

That is the normal case. We sort the documents, date what we can, and mark the gaps where a notice or record is not found. We do not fill gaps with guesses.

Start with one past or closed matter.

The pilot costs nothing. You see the chronology and notice check, then decide whether to go further.
